During music play time, children learn to understand and enjoy the language of music through singing, listening, playing percussion instruments and musical games. Staff receive regular training from our dedicated music teacher, who creates plans tailored to each age group.

Children venture outside throughout the day in one of our two gardens, exploring the natural world and developing gross motor skills on equipment such as rocking horses, balancing platforms and obstacle courses.

Staff are trained to plan and provide yoga for all children, including young babies, so they can express themselves and enjoy stretching and physical activity.

The staff provide a warm, friendly atmosphere and the development of your child is encouraged at their own pace.
Staff provide activities to stimulate each individual child through play, music, outdoor play and stories. Each year the staff contribute to the ongoing business plan by devising individual plans to develop their own units.
I can't recommend Scallywags enough. Our little boy has loved it from when he started six months ago. The staff are all amazing; he has formed lovely relationships with those he sees on a regular basis and they seem to genuinely like having him there too! Best nursery in Sheffield.

Everything is included in your fee apart from formula, breast milk, bottom/nappy cream and pull up nappies.
Every child is allocated a key worker. This may change if your child develops a better relationship with another member of staff in your child's unit.
Settling visits and creating a care plan with you, the development and progress of your child, parents evenings, and a friendly dedicated person to go to if you would like advice or to talk about your child's development.
