Keyworkers plan for children as individuals, focusing on their interests to help each child reach their goals.
Snowdrops cares for our babies and toddlers, with three rooms and a private garden area dedicated to continuous provision and free-flow play. The unit includes a sensory room, a separate sleep room, and its own changing room and kitchen.
Buttercups caters for children who are ready to explore a new environment and progress towards their next milestones, with two large playrooms and shared access to the private decking and garden.
Daffodils is our older toddler room, with two large playrooms and a large outdoor play space, supporting children as they express themselves through words and simple sentences and work towards toilet training.
Sunflowers nurtures young children on their final journey towards school readiness, led by a team of highly qualified practitioners, with an open-plan layout covering the whole of the second floor.
From Sunflowers, children transition into Preschool, which focuses on school readiness through phonics, number games, creative play and basic technology skills.
A few weeks before your child is due to start at Scallywags you will be invited to help your child settle in by visiting the nursery with them.
Once you and your child are happy you can leave them for a short time, allowing you both to build confidence in your new surroundings and with the staff.
If you have chosen Scallywags as the right nursery for you and your child, call the Manager or complete the online request form. The manager will then acknowledge your request and email you back with a relevant response and documentation.
